Following this step-by-step guide, you’ll learn how to set up your Network code and Google Ad Manager.
How to Signup for Google Ad Manager?
Google Ad Manager (GAM) is a central place for inventory apps and websites. The ad manager provides more control over the inventory and supports many integrations, such as prebid, ad exchanges, third-party networks, and direct deals.
To integrate MCM Delegation a Publisher is required to create a Google Ad Manager account.
The qualification requirement for Google Ad Manager is that you need to have a fully approved AdSense account. If you don’t have one, you can create a new one here.
Signup for Ad Manager
The publisher ad manager is permanently linked to Adsense. If you have more than one AdSense please choose the correct one which you want to proceed for.
- Go to admanager.google.com to sign up for a new account account. Make sure you are logged in with Gmail with fully verified AdSense.
- Follow the instructions to complete the signup Process.
- Select time zone currency and accept the terms and conditions.
- Congratulations your Account has been created.
After creating your account, go to admanager.google.com to sign in.
How to Find Network Code?
When setting up your GAM or linking to other products like Google Ad Exchange, you are required to provide information that identifies your Ad Manager account. This information is available in the Admin section of your account.
Your network code is a unique, numeric identity for your Ad Manager network link.
Follow the steps.
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Click Admin, then Global settings, and then Network settings.
- Find the “Network code” unique number.
To accept the MCM invitation, always use the primary email address you used to sign up for AdSense and Ad Manager.
How to Find Primary Ad Exchange Account
Find your Publisher ID and Active inventory types in Ad Exchange account settings.
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Click Admin > Global settings > Ad Exchange account settings.
Publisher ID A unique identifier tied to your Google publisher products, such as Ad Manager, AdMob, and AdSense, which share the same account.
This account has active inventory types enabled, such as “Display,” “Video,” or “Mobile In-App.”
Find your other linked accounts under Admin > Linked accounts etc…AdSense, Analytics, and Ad Exchange MCM.
